Lion from Zion

I found a really cool pattern in a book to make a lion, but because they used normal yarn I decided to make it a bit different. I found a really fluffy yarn which was perfect for the head and the tail of the lion.

This lion is not just A lion, but I gave it away to an organisation that collects teddybears for children with cancer. Therefore I hope that it made the child happy. He will surely help the child endure the pain with his soft smile.

Sewed stuff

This is a handmade pencase.
The outside is with a normal cotton fabric and the inside is with felt.

I don't like boring agendas so I spiced up mine a little bit with felt in different colours.

Endless scarf

This is a scarf I made.
It is made with blue yarn and a flower is added for mor colour.

Mighty mittens

These are a pair of mittens I made.
I didn't use a pattern to make them. I just looked at an example I bought and got started.
They are made of a blue yarn and I added a flower for more colour.

Warm feet, cold winter

These are the first slippers I made for the winter.
They are made of a very soft brown yarn and are especially made for my size of feet.
Although I can make them in any size possible.

Ha ha hat hats!

These are two hats I made.

This hat is made of a blue yarn. I've added the flower for more colour.

This hat is made of a thick white yarn. The design is made by myself.

OOH HOO

This is Ulrich, the first owl I made.
He's about 30 cm's tall and is made with a thick yarn and felt.
For the eyes I used black buttons.

This is a keychain version of the big owl. I made it for a friend of mine.
He's about 7 cm's tall and is made of a thin yarn and felt.

This is a duo of owls I made for my grandmother and aunt.
They are 15 cm's tall and are made of a thin yarn and felt.

Funny bunnies

This is the first bunny I made.
It is made with two types of purple yarn, green and blue yarn.
The soles of the feet, the insides of the hands and ears are made with a purple felt.

The purple bunny in the box is made with a purple synthetic and childfriendly yarn.
The paws, ears and eyes are covered with felt.
I also made pink baby socks for a girl. The soles are made of felt.
There is also a big owl, made with a thick yarn. The face and wings are coverd with felt.

The green bunny is made with a green synthetic and childfriendly yarn.
The paws, ears and eyes are covered with felt.

Babysocks

These socks are made for a baby boy.
They are made with a soft synthetic and childfriendly wool.
The soles and stars are made of felt.

Say what? 

Phinkies Products stands for products that involve crochetting, felting and sewing.

It is my own kind of label. I created it last year, but it's not really active. With this blog I am trying to make it a little bit more active.

What to expect?

On this blog I will post my latest creations, inspirations etc. If you see something you like, feel free to ask how I made it.

Most of my products go to friends or family, but it might be interesting if they could go somewhere abroad.

What kind of products?

- Cute fluffy animals in all sizes and colours, from keychains to pillowlike animals.

- Hats, scarfs, mittens to endure the strong winters.

- Slippers/socks to keep your feet warm after a long day of work.

- Jewelry: rings and earrings that are made with crocheted flowers, butterflies, ...
